DESCRIPTION:
Vintage wooden travel trunk, covered in monogram canvas with leather trim and brass hardware. Still retains the 'ribbon cage', a movable container with a wooden frame on which a canvas ribbon is stretched. Dimensions: 51x31x51 cm. Initials 'J. S. C.' under the handle. Serial number: 775687. Retailer label from Arthur Gilmore Inc., New York, and the historic store at 70, Champs-Elysees. Dated 1930 - 1940. Made in France. Shows defects and signs of age, but overall condition is very good. Well preserved.

DESCRIZIONE:
Baule da viaggio d'epoca in legno, rivestito in tela monogram con finiture in pelle e minuteria in ottone. Ancora presente la 'gabbia a nastro', ossia il contenitore mobile con telaio in legno su cui e' teso un nastro di tela. Cm 51x31x51. Iniziali J. S. C. sotto il manico. Seriale: 775687. Etichetta del rivenditore Arthur Gilmore Inc. e, New York e dello storico negozio al 70, Champs-Elysee. Datato 1930 - 1940. Prodotto in Francia. Presenta difetti e segni del tempo, ma le condizioni generali sono molto buone. Ben conservato.
